Christmas flavours are on the menu at two of Jersey’s top hotels, served with a big helping of yuletide cheer.
The chefs at the AA Five Star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa and the AA Four Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa are creating some fantastic festive afternoon tea fare this season.
They are swapping the traditional sandwich fillings for Christmas flavours and though menus differ across each hotel, guests will find a range of festive favourites such as roast turkey and cranberry sandwiches; chestnut, spinach and stilton tarts; along with Christmas-inspired pastries and sweet treats including milk churn sherry trifle served with candy canes, traditional mini mince pies with brandy cream and winter spiced scones.
Commenting on the festive menus, Simon Miller, General Manager of Hand Picked Hotels Jersey said, “Both hotels are being decked out for Christmas and our kitchen teams are excited to be kick-starting the festivities with their menus. We love celebrating this special time of year with our guests and look forward to welcoming everyone over the coming weeks.”
This fabulous festive afternoon tea treat costs £20.50 per person or £29 for some added Christmas spirit with either a glass of Champagne or mulled wine.
