Organisers of this year’s Accuro Jersey Triathlon are calling for forty volunteers to assist with the course marshalling on Sunday 11th July 2021, ensuring a safe, smooth-running event through-out the day.

Approximately five hundred competitors are set to take part in the event, which starts and finishes at Les Jardins De La Mer. Participants will complete a swim in front of Elizabeth Castle, a cycle route out to the West of the island and conclude with a running course around Jersey’s Waterfront.

Volunteers do not need any previous experience, just to be free for 2 to 4 hours on the morning of Sunday 11th July and will receive an event briefing on the day from their section leader. They must be over 18yrs on the day of the race, or part of a recognised group under the supervision of a leader who is 18+. This event raises money for three amazing local charities which are Dementia Jersey, Brightly and Oscar Maclean Foundation.

Without valued support from marshals, this event could not take place. Anyone able to volunteer to support the event by should head to www.jersey-triathlon.com/volunteering to register online.
