Holidays for Heroes Jersey is delighted to announce that the Annual Big Ride Out in aid of the charity will take place on Sunday 26th May 2024 setting off at 11.00.
This event sees the local biking community come out and ride from St Catherine’s Breakwater, through Gorey and along the Coast Road before collecting at La Collette. Once the ride has regrouped, it will proceed along the Avenue, through St Brelade’s Bay out to Corbiere before finishing at the Watersplash.
The organisers have worked closely with the Island’s Constables and Chefs de Police to minimise inconvenience to Islanders and reduce the possiblity of incidents and in that light have agreed to limit this year’s event to 500 bikes. We are also grateful to the Island’s Biker Clubs who have agreed to help guide the ride on the day.
Chairman Richard Harwood said “this is a massive event for Holidays for Heroes which is enjoyed by riders and the viewing public alike. Tickets are expected to sell out well before the ride and we would ask those who are not able to get tickets to respect the commitment made by the Charity to the authorities and not turn up on the day. Only bikes with stickers on will be able to join the ride”.
Tickets will be available from major motorcycle retailers from the 29th April for a minimum donation of £10.
