The delightful gardens of Domaine des Vaux in St Lawrence will be open on Sunday 15th May by kind permission of owners, Mr and Mrs Marcus Binney. There is a glorious woodland area containing many large specie trees, a magnificent assortment of camellias, azaleas, Japanese maples and several ponds. The gardens are extensive and include Mediterranean, kitchen garden and herb areas. Neil and Alli Singleton of Birding Tours, Jersey will be leading a Guided Walk at 3pm to enhance the enjoyment of your visit.
After you’ve explored the grounds, treat yourself to a delicious Cream Tea on the beautiful terrace and be sure to visit the Plant Stall and the Tombola.
Domaine des Vaux will be open from 2pm until 5pm. There will be signposts at nearby junctions. Parking is free.
Entrance costs £5, children under 12 are free. All proceeds go towards JAYF (Jersey Association for Youth and Friendship) which supports independent living in five hostels on the island for young adults who might otherwise be homeless. Regret no dogs.
