The team at Jersey Pearl are hosting the third installment of their popular scavenger hunts this February.

Following the success of two challenges in early 2021 where the scavenger hunts were enjoyed by hundreds of islanders and together raised over £4,400 for Jersey Hospice Care, the fundraiser will take place over February half term (19 –27 February). The quiz sheet will be focused on highlighting environmental initiatives and points of interest across the island.

Director of Jersey Pearl, Julia Williams, said: “We are really excited to be hosting another scavenger hunt! The buzz and sense of community from both events last year was just fantastic, and together we raised some really valuable funds for Jersey Hospice Care. We’re hoping this next scavenger hunt will be something for families, friends and colleagues to look forward to again, especially the team photo rounds, they were fabulous.

“We’ve chosen questions and challenges that highlight environmental initiatives and points of interest across the island and hope this will inspire people to consider what they can do here in Jersey to support the environment. This year the quiz has been designed with the option to complete the quiz on bikes too!”

Quiz sheets are available to pick up from Jersey Pearl in St Ouen from Saturday 19 February at 10am and participants have until 4pm the next Sunday (27 February) to find the answers and complete the challenges. The event is suitable for all ages, families, couples, and individuals and can easily be completed in an afternoon or in stages throughout half term. Participants are asked to make a minimum donation of £10 that will go straight towards supporting patients at Jersey Hospice Care.
