Stuart Platt-Ransom, group managing director of Legis Group, has been recognised in Private Client Practitioner's ‘50 Most Influential 2014’ for the second consecutive year and is the only Guernsey-based individual listed.
The prestigious list is compiled by Private Client Practitioner, one of the leading titles in the wealth management industry, as a definitive list of the most influential professionals in the field. It aims to celebrate the most prominent and important movers and shakers within the private client advisory professions.
Nominations for inclusion in the list are judged by PAM Insight based on their strength, the merits of the individual nominated and PAM Insight’s market knowledge.
Mr Platt-Ransom assumed responsibility for Legis Group in July 2007 and during this time has transformed the business into one of the largest and most highly rated independent financial services firms in Guernsey. In 2011 Mr Platt-Ransom successfully led a management buyout of the Legis Group from its previous owners and since this time has implemented a strategy that has enabled year-on-year growth despite difficult global economic times.
Under his leadership Legis has become an award-winning organisation, gaining five accolades in 2013 alone. Mr Platt-Ransom has also been repeatedly recognised in the Citywealth Leaders List, including the “Leading Trustees - Honours List” category in 2013 and was shortlisted for the “Outstanding Individual of the Year” at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2013.
