Last week a host of ghosts and ghouls gathered at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa for a hair raising Halloween ball which raised over £1,800 for RNLI Jersey.
Guests enjoyed welcome drinks, a delicious three course dinner, live entertainment and a fun casino run by members of the Jersey Round Table, the proceeds of which were also donated to the RNLI.
Partygoers got into the ‘spirit’ in a range of freakish fancy dress costumes with prizes awarded at the event to Matthew Harrison for his creative couture.
Commenting on the event, Simon Miller General Manager of L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa said, “We were delighted to have raised such a great amount for RNLI Jersey, our charity of choice for 2016. The Halloween Ball was great fun and it was fabulous to see so many people enjoying themselves all in the name of a very worthy cause.”
James Gales, Lifeboat Operations Manager for St Helier RNLI said, “The Halloween Ball was a huge success and that we are all very grateful for the hard work put in by the L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa staff and management.
“All guests took the Halloween spirit on board and had a lot of fun, not only was the catering excellent, but also the fun casino provided great entertainment.
“Of course we are especially pleased with the support and funding raised, as well as the exposure and awareness made of the services which we provide. We appreciate this continued support."
