More than £100,000 was raised from this year’s State Street Island Walk, which saw nearly 1,400 participants registered in the 27th year of this annual event, and State Street’s first year as sponsor.

With cheques presented to 16 local charities and organisations by His Excellency Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, Lieutenant-Governor; Joy Carry, Chair of the Trustees for the State Street Island Walk; and Tim Pallot, COO for State Street Global Services in the Channel Islands. Jersey Employment Trust and Acorn Reuse Centre (Jocelyn Butterworth, pictured), Jersey National Park (Jim Hopley, pictured), Jersey Child Care Trust (Fiona Vacher, pictured) and Rotary Club de la Manche (Mike Bellegoi, pictured) were the four main organisations to receive donations.”
