Moore Stephens has retained its Platinum Employment Partner accreditation.

The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Employer Partnership Programme (EPP)offers a benchmark to assess learning and development provision and is a recognised kite-mark within the wealth advisory industry.

The Platinum award achieved by Moore Stephens in Jersey represents STEP’s highest level of accreditation.  Employers must evidence a range of standards including a strong learning culture championed from the very top of the organisation, robust systems and procedures to support the implementation of tailored learning and development and a dedicated learning and development function within the organisation.

Since our original accreditation we have re-aligned our job level framework to identify competencies and expected behaviours which are also reflected in our job descriptions and performance review process”, saidMichala Wright, Human Resources Manager at Moore Stephens.  “We have also worked together to refine and share our corporate values so we can all work and grow more successfully in the workplace, creating a positive impact on our employees’ mental wellbeing, so they can be the best version of themselves.

As an employer, the programme provides us with a toolkit to help deploy high quality learning and development in our organisation which, in turn, enhances employee engagement.

Jennie Hutchinson, Head of Employment Partnerships at STEP said “The evidence provided by Moore Stephens demonstrated detailed and thorough attention to the learning and development needs of staff as well as to their wellbeing and personal development on a truly holistic basis.  Career pathways are aligned to the performance review process and individuals are encouraged to record and reflect upon knowledge and skills acquired, share learning outcomes and apply these in practice.”
