Channel island based Stanley Gibbons has launched a bespoke Investment website to serve its growing database of investment clients, wealth managers and family offices. The new site will focus on the various opportunities for the discerning investor utilising Stanley Gibbon’s 150 year heritage and expertise.

The site was developed by the company’s digital team in the Channel islands working with the Investment team, that is also based there, to create a destination that is suited to hosting a heritage asset class. The Stanley Gibbons’ digital team is led by Director of E-Commerce Operations, Paul Zimmerman, who has worked for Play.com as well as Amazon and Firebox.

Keith Heddle, Global Investment Director, Stanley Gibbons, said it was a necessary thing, ‘We needed to provide a one-stop hub for those looking to stamps and coins to diversify their investment portfolios. The needs of the philately collectors and the high net worth investment client are quite different, but both are equally as important to the business of Stanley Gibbons. We have tailored our information and the website services to reflect that. It has been an excellent example of the kind of collaboration we have nurtured between our investment and digital teams in the Channel islands.
