BWCI has had a record year for recruitment, with 11 new staff joining since the summer to strengthen all areas of the business. BWCI’s HR Manager, Alison Hawkins said:
BWCI has had a record year for recruitment, with 11 new staff joining since the summer to strengthen all areas of the business. BWCI’s HR Manager, Alison Hawkins said:
“All of our new recruits are locally qualified and represent the abilities and wide range of skills developed in the Channel Islands. We have responded to increasing client workloads with the expansion of our many of teams.”
First to be appointed was Lauren Le Moignan, joining our Jersey office from Highlands College. Soon to follow were Jessica Perree and Andrew Rumens in our Guernsey office. All three are training as employee benefits administrators.
Nick Biddlecombe then came on board as a junior programmer in our business support team, having completed his BTEC National Extended Diploma at the Guernsey College of Further Education.
Part CFA qualified Robin Emmerson has joined our investment as a senior analyst, having relocated back to Guernsey from the UK. This team was further strengthened by the addition of two new graduate trainee actuaries, Ben Saul and Chris Ferbrache. Ben joins us after completing his degree in Civil Engineering from Portsmouth University and Chris has a degree in Physics with Photonics from the University of Southampton.
Our actuarial pensions team has seen the addition of Richard Wright as an analyst, having completed A levels at Elizabeth College. He is joined by two actuarial trainees; Stephanie Collier and Amber Buckingham. Stephanie is a computer science graduate while Amber was the 2013 winner of the BWCI Further Mathematics Cup at Ladies’ College, having achieved A*s in her Maths and Further Maths A levels.
To complete our complement of 5 new actuarial trainees, we welcome Michael Jones to our actuarial insurance team, following his graduation from on the University of Durham with a degree in Theoretical Physics.
