Hand Picked Hotels have come up with a novel way for book worms to enjoy an overnight stay at their Jersey hotels this winter and to mark 200 years since the birth of Emily Brontë.
The AA Five Star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa in St Helier and the AA Four Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa in St Brelade have launched a ‘Novel Winter Escape’ designed to encourage guests to cherish classic literature and spend their quality leisure time curled up with a good book instead of their ‘phones!
The ‘Novel Winter Escape’ includes a three course dinner, an overnight stay, breakfast and a chance to snuggle up with a complimentary copy of a real classic page turner. Guests can choose between a bespoke copy of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, a passionate tale of love and vengeance on the Yorkshire Moors, or they can follow Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson as they investigate the legend of a supernatural beast in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous crime novel, The Hound of the Baskervilles.
