THE INN is very excited to be hosting ‘The Dingley Dell’s Flying Visit’ to Jersey on Tuesday 4th March from the renowned Dingley Dell Pork farm in Suffolk, an ambassador farm for the RSPCA’s Freedom Food scheme. Celebrating the journey of the pig from farm to plate, the event bring together the farmer, butcher and top British chefs to create a fun night of inspiration and gastronomy that any foodie would not want to miss out on.

The Dingley Dell team tour the UK introducing their legendary pork to new chefs, aspiring students and lovers of fine food. The host venue chef is invited to cook with the pork, local catering students join in as part of the 'Passion to Inspire' initiative and a charity is selected to benefit from the night.

The evening starts with an introduction and farm tour from Mark Hayward, Dingley Dell's farmer, followed by the grand entrance of the pig and a butchery demonstration from Master butcher Kevin Burrows.

Then the serious business begins with a pork tasting menu, and THE INN's Head Chef Tony Nogueira will be cooking up a tasty porky dish and looking forward to welcoming visiting chefs to his kitchen - Mark Poynton (Michelin star) from Alimentum Restaurant in Cambridge, Eric Snaith (3 AA Rosettes) from Titchwell Manor in Norfolk, Murray Chapman from 'Passion to Inspire', Tony Leck from The Pavilion, Guernsey and Adrian Doolan from Jersey Cheshire Home, who are the benefitting charity of the night. It's a great chance for the chefs to be creative, share ideas and inspire others, including students from Highlands College who will be assisting, and for everyone to really enjoy and appreciate the unique Dingley Dell pork taste and complementary wines from Randalls.

Stephen Clipp, Managing Director of THE INN said 'We are delighted to be hosting this event, the first of it's kind in Jersey, in conjunction with Easenmyne the local supplier. It's a fantastic opportunity for the Restaurant community and gourmets to get together, see the farmer's story and enjoy pork at it's very best. The Dingley Dell Flying Visits are well known as a great fun night, full of theatre and talent, which also aim to excite the Chefs of the future, while raising money for a local charity'.

Limited tickets are available at £40.00 for six tasting courses +£20.00 for wine.
