At the Brooks Macdonald/ Blood Cancer UK, Jersey Branch golf day held at La Moye on 10th September, the amazing sum of £24,000 was raised, every penny of which will go into the research for a cure and better treatment for those suffering with any blood cancer.
It was a good day with a full house of 24 teams playing, enjoying a marvellous lunch in the club house, a prize giving, a raffle and finally four auction items. Blood Cancer UK, Jersey Branch gives enormous thanks to our very generous sponsor Brooks Macdonald, to all those who provided raffle prizes and auction items, to La Moye Golf Club and of course to all the teams who took part. Their support is fantastic, and we really appreciate their joining us in this fun day, and we hope to see them all in two years’ time!
