One lucky islander could be riding home on some new wheels this Christmas.

Tickets for the Jersey Cheshire Home big Christmas raffle have gone on sale and the star prize is a Piaggio 1 electric moped.

Tickets cost £10 each and the team at the Home hope to raise over £15,000 towards their mission of enhancing lives and supporting islanders with disabilities.

There are ten top prizes up for grabs including a cash prize of £500, an electric scooter as well as vouchers for local hotels, eateries and shops.

Donna Abel, CEO Jersey Cheshire Home said, “We are extremely grateful to all the local businesses who have donated to make this such a fantastic Christmas raffle and to those volunteers who are helping us to sell the raffle tickets. The proceeds from every ticket sold will help with the running of our Home.”

Tickets can be purchased from Reception at Jersey Cheshire Home from Monday to Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

They are also on sale at the following venues:

  • Grand Marche, St Helier – Friday 18th November, 10am – 4pm.
  • Grand Marche, St Peter – Saturday 19th, Friday 25th & Saturday 26th November 10am – 4pm.
