ABN AMRO has today announced the completion of the sale of its Martello Court and Dorey Court buildings at Admiral Park to a fund managed by Brockton Capital.

ABN AMRO will remain as a tenant of Martello Court until 2035.

Graham Thoume, managing director of ABN AMRO in Guernsey, said: "In the past few years, ABN AMRO Guernsey has successfully enhanced its focus on its private banking clients, strengthened its service levels and improved profitability. Given our limited own usage, the divestment of these properties is a logical next step in our strategy to focus our capital and resources on our core business."

The sale was effective as of Thursday 4 June. Financial details will not be disclosed.

ABN AMRO in Guernsey offers private banking, lending, global custody, custodian trustee and investment management services. ABN AMRO has been present in Guernsey since 1984 and employs approximately 100 staff.
