BPP Appoints New Staff

BPP Professional Education in the Channel Islands has appointed Stuart Chandler as its Head of Business Development, with Kelly Dawson and Emma Yau joining the Guernsey office as tutors.

Stuart joins BPP from State Street Guernsey, where he was Assistant Vice President of their Client Service team. Prior to State Street, he spent four years with BPP in Guernsey, as ACCA Programme Manager and Senior Tutor.

Stuart is a Fellow of the ACCA, an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Chair of the GSCCA’s Training and Courses Sub-Committee.

Prior to BPP, Kelly worked as an audit manager with a big four firm in both Guernsey and the Cayman Islands. She has over seven years’ experience in the audit and financial services industry.

Kelly will teach professional development and professional exam courses for various qualifications, focusing on accounting, financial reporting and audit. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Before moving to BPP, Emma worked as a Private Banker for the Guernsey office of an international private bank.  She is a qualified investment adviser with 10 years of experience and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Emma’s main focus is teaching a range of investment-related financial qualifications, as well as fund administration, trust & company administration and a variety of professional development courses.
