Marcus O’Neill has joined the C5 Alliance Managed Services team in Guernsey with an appointment as a Service Desk Engineer.
Mr O’Neill who joins the five-strong team, has been passionate about IT from a young age, his first computer ran on MS-DOS, a text-based operating system.
C5’s Managed Services team works in partnership with the company’s clients, providing them with 365/24/7 support and valuable management information. The team enhances the client’s in-house IT department, implementing cost-effective solutions and efficiencies.
Mr O’Neill has undertaken a range of professional qualifications that allow him to work confidently across a number of software and technology platforms. He is currently studying towards a number of Microsoft Office 365 certifications which will enhance his knowledge of cloud based software.
“Decades ago when I was running games on an early MS-DOS system I knew I wanted to work in this sector, it’s important to evolve with the technology to succeed in this industry. It’s constantly changing, and if you’re not willing to learn then you will get left behind” Mr O’Neill explained.
