Islanders are set to enjoy a whole summer of family-friendly live music events, thanks to JT’s continued sponsorship of the popular Cobo Bay Hotel Summer Balcony Gigs.

Cobo Bay Hotel has been providing great entertainment from their first-floor balcony for locals and visitors alike for over 25 years. Many top local and UK bands have played there, including some of the best tribute acts in the world.

The free gigs begin on 30 April with a Tribute to Fleetwood Mac and conclude on 27 August with a Tribute to David Bowie. The gigs raise money for Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity supporting disabled people in the British Isles and around the world to fulfil their potential and live the lives they choose.

JT’s Deputy Managing Director in Guernsey, Tamara O’Brien, said: “We have been a sponsor and supporter of the summer gigs for over five years because we know that they’re a fantastic community event for Islanders. There’s another great line up of artists playing with something for everyone and our JT team will be handing out some great freebies, including sunglasses and the ever-popular foam fingers.

“JT has a long history of supporting music in the Channel Islands and we’re proud to help join artists and audiences together. I urge music lovers to put the dates in your diaries and follow us on Facebook @JTSocial to see all our events, competitions and news.”

David Nussbaumer, organiser of The Cobo Bay Balcony Gigs, said: “Our thanks go to JT for their ongoing support, which has helped us to secure some of the best tribute acts around. Locals and visitors alike will once again hear great music at a great venue throughout the summer.”
