Practical issues for directors, senior managers and senior compliance professionals working in Guernsey's regulated financial services industry will be the theme of Collas Crill's next risk half-day conference on the 3 October.

Hosted by Collas Crill's risk & regulatory team, the firm will also be joined by guest speakers, barristers James Purchas of 4 Pump Court and Graeme McPherson, QC of 4 New Square, both actively involved in regulatory developments and ongoing offshore cases.

James will explore the trials and tribulations of senior management focusing on potential liabilities while Graeme will be speaking on issues surrounding regulatory investigations and the enforcement process, including preparation for and dealing with tribunal hearings.

Speakers from Collas Crill's commercial and dispute resolution teams include partners Paul Wilkes, Wayne Atkinson and Michael Adkins as well as senior associate Nin Ritchie.

They will be discussing key developments and issues in Guernsey including bribery and corruption, corporate governance, GDPR as well as a the consultations released by the Guernsey Financial Service Commission in 2017.
