West Sealand Digital (WSD), Guernsey, has been awarded a significant order for the design and development of a cyber defence centre in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Arabian Security and Safety Services Company (AMNCO), Saudi Arabia’s largest and oldest security company, has employed WSD to design, integrate and deliver a cyber defence centre to provide a managed service solution for Saudi Arabian companies and a training centre for future cyber analysts.

‘We are delighted to award this strategic contract to WSD. Throughout our rigorous selection process we were impressed with WSD’s independent approach, their ability to understand our needs and then select and integrate the right security solutions to mitigate the security risk of our clients,’ said Fahad Al Guthami, CEO of Arabian Security and Safety Services.

WSD will deliver the cyber defence centre in September 2017. The initial delivery will include training courses and support for the cyber analysts who will deliver the managed services to companies within Saudi Arabia. WSD will provide long-term support, service and consultancy through a multi-year service agreement.

‘The selection of WSD to deliver a cutting edge cyber defence centre, to include advanced intrusion detection analytics, insider threat, secure device management and other essential security services is a real validation of the security expertise within West Sealand Digital, and in Guernsey as a place for international digital business,’ said WSD director David Crook.
