Norman Piette, Guernsey’s leading builders’ merchants has made a number of new appointments at the company’s headquarters in Bulwer Avenue.

Ben Falla has become the NP Group’s new Accountant. The 33 year-old former Elizabeth College student trained as an accountant while at The Travel Corporation.

‘Norman Piette is a hugely successful local business which I have known throughout my life and used to visit with my dad when I was a child. It is great to work here now and be at the heart of the operation where I can use my training to deliver value to the company.’

Dan le Cheminant joins the company’s Plumbing and Heating Department as a Sales Representative. The 24 year-old former La Mare de Carteret student left school and became a heating designer and feels that his training puts him in a good position to offer advice about the company’s products and services:

‘The new Plumbing and Heating Department is a state-of-the-art plumbing environment and the perfect place to meet other people in the industry to discuss developments and share knowledge. It is a great place to work.’’

Former St Sampson’s Secondary School student Oliver Shepherd joins Norman Piette from Direct Aviation as Purchasing Assistant.

Norman Piette Managing Director, Paul Rogers says: ‘We consider training to be a vital part of the culture here at Norman Piette and this allows employees with ambition to further their career within the Group. We always encourage staff to embrace life-long learning and I am confident that our three new team members will enjoy the challenges that our business throws at them. It is great to have them on board.’
