Carey Olsen has strengthened its top tier employment practice with the appointment of Carly Parrott as counsel bringing the number of employment lawyers across the Channel Islands team to ten.

Carly, who joins from another offshore law firm, is recogonised as a specialist in her field having consistently been ranked by Chambers and Legal 500 as "going the extra miles for clients", providing "high quality legal advice" that is pragmatic and decisive with a common sense approach.

She advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and deals with global, multinational and local clients, with extensive experience in both onshore and offshore jurisdictions and expertise in assisting employer organisations and senior executives.

Advocate Elaine Gray said: "We are delighted to have Carly on board at Carey Olsen. Carly enjoys an excellent reputation and is a fantastic addition to our team. We have seen a marked increase in the number of employment-related instructions and her experience will be very beneficial to our clients."

Ms Parrott added: "Carey Olsen's employment practice is highly regarded across the Channel Islands and the practice is growing so it is an exciting time to join the firm. I am looking forward to working with the team here and to help develop our offering in this sector."

Carly will be joining partners Elaine Gray and Mark Dunster at Carey Olsen's half day conference with the GTA on 24th January. For more information, please visit the GTA website at https://www.gta.gg/course/integrity-matters-employment-law-conference/
