Intertrust in Guernsey has appointed a new director to further grow the funds business.
Andrew Maiden has been appointed as a Director in the fund services team in Guernsey and will have a specific focus on business development for the funds team in the island and managing the firm’s existing client relationships.
Mr Maiden joins Intertrust with more than 20 years’ experience in the offshore fund administration industry and has expertise in dealing with private equity, infrastructure, real estate and listed funds.
Intertrust’s fund services offering in Guernsey has been growing significantly since the firm’s acquisition of Elian in 2016 and Mr Maiden is responsible for ensuring Intertrust's global ambitions for fund services are realised in key locations such as Guernsey.
Michael Johnson, Head of Channel Islands Funds, welcomed the appointment and said: “Andy brings with him significant funds expertise in all asset classes and joins us at a confident time for our funds services business.”
Mr Maiden said: “Intertrust has a reputation for putting people first and offering a superb client service and I am excited to work with the strong team that is already in place, alongside the global fund service offering which Intertrust offers, to build on this reputation further.”
