Ravenscroft has appointed a head of settlements with 27 years’ industry experience.

Justina Greig has joined Ravenscroft’s Guernsey office to manage the day-to-day running of the settlements team. She will also work closely with senior management on system improvements and enhancements.

"Having previously worked with Jon Ravenscroft, I knew his passion and dedication towards not only the business but also to the team and that is something I’m excited to be a part of. As the only locally-owned independent stockbroking and investment management company in the Channel Islands, Ravenscroft is unique and I want to use my experience to look at how we can continue improving the service we provide to private, institutional and intermediary clients," she said.

Mrs Greig has worked in various roles within the finance industry over the last 27 years. Her career began at The First Central Bank of Chicago, where she worked as a client portfolio account administrator for three years. She has also worked at Barings Guernsey Limited and spent five years working for Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong overseeing the Asia Pacific region.

For the last 15 years, Mrs Greig has been at Cannacord Genuity Wealth Management as corporate actions manager.

"Justina is well-known and highly respected within the finance industry and will make an excellent addition to the Ravenscroft team. Her knowledge and experience will make a huge contribution to our already established settlements team helping us to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations in terms of service across Guernsey and Jersey," said Charlie Roger, Ravenscroft chief executive officer, Channel Islands.
