One of the Channel Island’s most respected insurance specialists has been appointed to the board of Rossborough Insurance.
Glyn Smith has also been appointed as a director of Rossborough Insurance Guernsey after joining the Channel Islands and Isle of Man insurance broker as commercial manager in March.
‘Glyn has a wealth of experience and expertise, and is one of the most respected insurance specialists in the Channel Islands. Since joining Rossborough in March this year, he has already made a significant contribution and we’re looking forward to Glyn’s valuable input as a board member,’ said Ian Stewart, managing director of Rossborough Guernsey.
Mr Smith, who holds the Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute, said he was delighted to join the board.
‘I joined Rossborough because it is a market-leading brand and over the past eight months have enjoyed managing our expanding portfolio of corporate clients as commercial manager. Joining the Rossborough board will enable me to use my four decades in the industry to drive the business forward and continue delivering competitive solutions tailored for our clients needs’ he said.
With 39 years in the insurance sector in Guernsey, Mr Smith – an MBA graduate - is also well known for his involvement with the Smile4Wessex charity and in local sport. He has two grown up children and has been married for 30 years.
