Stanley Gibbons Investment is delighted to sponsor the Guernsey Powerboat Series for the third year.
The Stanley Gibbons Investment Powerboat Series is a series of six monthly powerboat races, taking place in Guernsey from May to October.
Boats can reach speeds of up to 75 miles an hour, watched by spectators in some of the island’s most picturesque coastal spots.
Keith Heddle, Managing Director of Investments at Stanley Gibbons, said: “Powerboating is an increasingly popular sport and Guernsey is the perfect setting for competitors, and spectators alike. This sponsorship is part of Stanley Gibbons Investment’s commitment to the Island, and we hope Islanders will enjoy the events.
“The series is a great opportunity for Islanders and visitors to see Guernsey’s spectacular coastline, and the World and European Powerboat Championships later this year are a great coup for the Island.”
Powerboating is growing in popularity in the Channel Islands and the Guernsey Powerboat Association now has over 80 members. In September Guernsey will also host the UIM World & European Powerboat Championships, with up to 40 boats from around the world expected to take part.

The first Stanley Gibbons Investment Powerboat Race Series 2017 event will take place 27-28 May at Havelet and Lowerheads.
