Guernsey estate agent Swoffers has announced the appointment of Alexandra Haining who has joined the team in a new Open Market Business Development role
Alexandra has experience in the sector after working in finance and specialising in the development of high-end residential properties in London. Alexandra recently returned to the island and has been involved in a number of developments, including the building of her own home.
Based in Guernsey, the new role is specifically aimed at targeting high-net worth individuals and intermediaries in the UK and especially London, encouraging them to relocate to Guernsey or invest in the island’s residential property sector.
The announcement comes soon after the Commerce and Employment Department confirmed that the new Locate Guernsey initiative will receive £1.2million of funding from the Economic Development Fund. Locate Guernsey is positioned to create new income for Guernsey and entice businesses to relocate to the island.
Alexandra Haining said: "I am absolutely delighted to be working with Swoffers on this new initiative. After several years living in London and around the world in countries such as Singapore, Germany and America, the appeal of coming back to Guernsey was very clear. From this perspective, I aim to showcase why Guernsey is a fantastic place to relocate to both for career and lifestyle. I hope to be working very closely with the Locate Guernsey team as business development for the island goes hand in hand with the need to promote all that the open market has to offer."
