Staff at ZEDRA Guernsey grew their beards during the month of November to raise funds for the charity, Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG).

To stimulate donations, Director of Private Clients, Colin Borman challenged his fellow colleagues to raise a minimum of £100.00 to see him wear baubles on his beard for one whole day.

‘Male Uprising Guernsey is a fantastic charity and I wanted to do all I could to boost the donations. I stuck to my word and wore the baubles all day,’ said Colin.

Collectively, ZEDRA Guernsey’s staff raised over £200.00 for Male Uprising Guernsey.

‘The team have once again done us proud in raising money for such an important charity. It was great fun and we even exceeded our target,’ said Julien Sharpe, Managing Director.

Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) is a local charity, which aims to increase awareness, raise funds and promote education around the symptoms and treatment of male cancers. MUG aims to get men, whatever their age, to be more confident, outgoing and questioning of their health symptoms.
