Our client, one of the largest and well respected law firms in Jersey, are now seeking an Assistant Risk Manager to help drive their risk strategy forward. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for structured development in order to progress to the next level in their career.

This position will support the wider team in helping to drive the risk strategy forward, working closely with the business on the legal side and within the corporate services division.

Responsibilities will include running / supporting the risk function and managing the compliance function within the business. This role would be perfect for someone who is almost at manager level and will be ready to take the next step up in c. 12 months time.

There will be involvement with board meetings and also running risk committee meetings sending out agendas and running of the meetings specifically.

This position will especially suit someone who is process driven and has a strong eye for detail with a drive to problem solve and get to the heart of the matter. There is also a global outreach element to this role as the position covers all jurisdictions in the business.

Ideally we are looking for individuals who hold a relevant risk management qualification. Involvement with compliance monitoring programmes is also preferable.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential along with strong analytical skills.

Salary: Circa 45,000 + in line with experience.
