The Government of Jersey’s Modernisation & Digital division is looking to recruit a Business Application Support Manager.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance for Application Support Technical teams, responsible for the lifecycle planning of business applications across the Government of Jersey. You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of IT applications across the organisation, ensuring recognition of desired business outcomes.
Responsible for maintaining IT Support Services according to relevant and published processes, including delivery to SLA and KPI targets across the team, you will ensure the delivery of robust solutions, including overseeing testing for comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical solutions.
A critical element of the role will be the responsibility for ensuring the development, operation, and security of IT solutions in line with best practice and all statutory requirements.
You will need a good standard of education and have relevant experience in a similar role and certification in an industry-recognised qualification would be desirable.
