Full Description

To meet the increasing demands for our service, we are looking to recruit new Caseworkers to join our growing Casework and Audit Team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing their own caseload of data protection enquiries and complaints. No two days are the same and every case is different, however as a Caseworker you may typically be:

  • Offering advice and guidance to Islanders on their data protection rights and responsibilities,
  • Applying persuasive compliance wherever possible,

Whether you’re brand new to the world of data protection, or well-versed in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, this is an exciting time to join a small but growing organisation with big ambitions and a clear purpose. We’re the regulator but we’re far from regular. Our people are the heartbeat of our work and our culture flows through everything we do. When you join the JOIC, you are not just part of a team, you are part of a family and we are looking for talented professionals with a passion for privacy to join us.
  • We are an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Funded training will be provided.
  • Candidates must hold ‘entitled' or ‘entitled to work’ status in Jersey to apply for this position.
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
