The firm
Jersey Finance is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 2001 to represent and promote Jersey as an international finance centre (IFC) of excellence. It has offices in Jersey, Dubai, Hong Kong and London.

As a multi-channel marketing organisation, its primary focus is to proactively communicate the many factors that set Jersey apart as a leading IFC across its key target markets. Jersey Finance works closely with the Government of Jersey and the regulator, the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), to ensure that the financial services industry in Jersey is effectively represented.  

The role

The Chief Executive will act as principal in the representation and promotion of the Jersey finance industry to domestic and international communities. They will lead the Jersey Finance team in designing and delivering the strategic plans to ensure a thriving financial services environment. They will work closely with the Jersey Government and the JFSC to monitor external influences and to develop relevant provisions in response. 

The candidate

This is an exciting, high-profile role requiring an experienced individual capable of managing the reputation of Jersey’s finance industry at an international level. You will bring:
·        The ability to network at the most senior levels amongst financial services professionals, political representatives, regulators and other relevant bodies.
·        A sound knowledge of the financial services industry, including its digital dimensions, as well as marketing and public relations skills.
·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ideally media experience.
·        A strong strategic vision and the ability to translate broad industry needs into meaningful international campaigns.
