CAN YOU LEAD AND MANAGE THE CARE AT THE UNIQUE AND MUCH-LOVED JERSEY CHESHIRE HOME? 

Jersey Cheshire Home provides care and support to adults living with a range of physical disabilities. It is home for up to 28 residents at one time and provides facilities and activities such as aqua-therapy, physiotherapy, recreational activities and nursing care, in tailor made adult day-care packages, supporting numerous additional individuals each week.  The purpose-built premises provide a safe environment for our residents and visitors and the incredible team create a welcoming atmosphere.   

Jersey Cheshire Home is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for the post of Chief Executive to ensure our high standard of experience continues for all residents and visitors, assisting them to manage and improve their conditions.    

You will have an unwavering commitment to providing safe and high-quality care. You will be able to quickly adapt to the culture of the Home, acting as a champion for our values and associated behaviours. You will lead, manage, develop and support a multi-disciplinary team committed to creating the caring, welcoming place that our residents call home. You will have experience of management and ideally a leadership qualification. 

You will be responsible for managing the Home effectively in line with the Regulation of Care Law (Jersey 2014). With the support of an experienced and qualified Care Manager, you will lead the organisation in ensuring effective staff revalidation systems. You will be accountable for ensuring outstanding standards of care, clinical governance, audit, effective budgetary management and lead on communication both internally and externally.
• full-time position (Entitled to Work status is required)
• a competitive salary in line with experience relevant to the position and responsibilities (plus 5% in lieu of pension) 
• 30 days holiday a year
