As a Senior Administrator, you will support the Ogier in-house Corporate Governance team, to ensure that Ogier is meeting its regulatory and governance requirements. You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of project and administrative work, at a senior level.
Collaboration is key to how we work and, in this position, you will work alongside a small Corporate Governance team, as well as colleagues across the business and in different jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will provide administrative support to the Corporate Governance team and Ogier's in-house entities. This will include creating agendas, collating and distributing board packs, administration of board meetings including, producing detailed board minutes, distribution of board minutes, arranging for signature and carrying out any post-meeting actions as required.
Additional responsibilities include:- Assisting with filings or notifications to the relevant regulatory authorities including ensuring that corporate records are updated as appropriate;
- Providing ad-hoc support to the directors of the in-house entities and liaise with other departments and third parties, as required;
- Supporting project work as required, undertaking initiatives identified and designated from time to time;
- Assisting with the building, and on occasion, lead the development of tech solutions to support efficiencies within the in-house Corporate Governance team;
- Contribute to the business by identifying improvements in processes, policies and procedures on governance matters;
- Acting as a mentor and assisting in the training and development of staff within the Corporate Governance team; and
- Such other duties as the business may reasonably require from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, who has previous experience working in industry and/or professional practice, ideally holding relevant professional qualifications such as ICSA/ STEP.
You will be proficient in Microsoft office, particularly in the use of Outlook, Excel and Word. Previous experience of ViewPoint is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided.
Additional Skills Include:- Excellent organisation, administration and communication skills to undertake work at a high standard and of a confidential nature.
- Administrative and document management experience.
- Ability to adapt to the continual roll-out of innovative tools and processes
- Supportive of and able to demonstrate agile and flexible working.
