The Data Protection and Compliance Analyst will eventually become one of the primary points of contact across the Government, providing expertise on operational advice and guidance and developing internal policy and procedure.
You will work on the development of the organisation's data protection framework, proactively identifying and monitoring legislation and policy that may impact the organisation, to determine the appropriate strategy to respond minimising risk.
The successful candidate will also be an integral part of a high-quality, customer-focussed, and continuously improving service for the users it promotes the use of the organisation's services and will eventually become a specialist resource on data protection and compliance for the wider organisation, reviewing processes and requirements ensuring that any implemented changes are compliant with statutory regulation.
The role holder once appropriately trained will conduct internal investigations of relevant security incidents, complaints, and alleged breaches regarding misuse of the information held by the organisation to ensure the appropriate response is followed.
This role could suit someone with experience in a similar role with technical knowledge of data protection and compliance or a graduate looking for an opportunity where there is real career growth, progression and training.
To be successful in this role you will need a good standard of education and be analytically minded.
