Local homeless charity Sanctuary Trust is recruiting a Daytime Caretake and Caterer to oversee domestic and catering services at its Sanctuary House facility in St Aubin.

A significant part of this highly rewarding opportunity will be interacting with residents who are facing a crisis point in their lives and have a range of needs. The Daytime Caretaker will play an important role in supporting these men to their lives get back on track.

Predominantly working afternoon shifts, the Daytime Caretaker will be responsible for meal preparation, menu planning, and shopping, as well as cleaning, laundry and maintenance duties.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible, open-minded approach to work, with a good sense of humour and fantastic interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. All relevant training will be provided.
