We are building a brand new team to work on greenfield product development to add to our existing RegTech portfolio. This is an opportunity to join the team from day one and be a part in setting up the culture and ways of working.
The team will be responsible for designing, building, shipping and running RegTech SaaS products in an agile way.
Our tech stack is .NET 6, Azure, React.js, SQL Server.
As DevOps Engineer, you will be the team’s expert on cloud infrastructure. You will design, build, manage and scale the infrastructure underlying our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Designing infrastructure in Azure using an infrastructure as code approach
Help inform technology selection
Ensuring the security of cloud environments
Planning for high availability and business continuity
Ensuring systems are scalable and performant
Implementing monitoring and alerting
Evolving infrastructure in response to scale, business needs, security threats and monitoring/metrics
Collaborating with developers to optimise deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting
Creating CI/CD pipelines
Participating in agile development ceremonies
Contributing to continuous improvement of the team and development process
Supporting products through go-live and beyond
Champion DevOps knowledge and best practice in the development team
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
It would be desirable (but not essential) for a candidate to demonstrate:
Around 5 years’ experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles with a strong cloud focus
Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Cloud Formation)
Experience designing and running systems in Azure (or AWS/GCP)
Product focus with previous experience at a SaaS company
Experience creating and running APIs in the cloud and at scale
Managing Kubernetes clusters would be a bonus
