We are looking for a groom for 3 to 4 days per week, 0730 to 1700.
We are looking for the right person to join our friendly team as a full time groom on a state-of-the-art livery yard In the beautiful island of Jersey. We are a mixed discipline full livery yard with competition horses to retired horses so experience handling a range of horses is necessary. Working within a team performing all usual yard duties to a high standard including mucking out, turning out/bringing in, feeding, grooming etc. This is predominantly a non riding role.
Must be self-motivated, hardworking, loyal and take pride in what you do and able to work as part of a team and alone as well as be able to manage time effectively.
What we can offer the right person:
- 3 or more day week, work on a rota including some weekends
- Good rates of pay
- Contract provided
- Further training to be put though BHS challenge awards and stage exams if wanted
- 5yr residence NOT required
- Full driving licence a must due to location
