Full Description

Deliver high standard of events internal and external throughout the year to promote the Brand and build Networking group of clients which compliment the Company. Must be comfortable in a role that demands a creative, business-driven mindset and lasting relationships with vendors. To attain the highest possible standards of Customer Service, Merchandising and all shop floor duties to maximise sales while working within the Aims and Values of the Company.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY   ·        
Understand requirements for each event.
         
Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints.

Book venues.

Research vendors and choose the best combination of quality and cost.

Negotiate with vendor to achieve the most favourable terms.

Manage all event operations.

Attend Networking opportunities.

Building up a group of networking clients.

Responsible for good customer service.
        
Health and Safety compliant.

Working on the till when required.

Ensure high levels of cleanliness standard are met.

Effectively grow profits.

Execution of the store business plan.

E
ffectively develop and execute excellent customer service.

Delivery of the required standard in all areas of compliance and due diligence.

Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance and information on product features.

Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.

Process POS (point of sale) purchases.

Cross sell products.

Handle returns of merchandise.

Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.

Build productive trust relationships with customers.

Comply with inventory control procedures/Stocktake.
   
Adhere to personal standards and dress regulations.
       
Daily housekeeping duties and maintaining good standards of stock and merchandising.

To adhere to Company’s policies, ensuring legal compliance.

To attend training courses and take ownership of own learning and development.

Keep up to date with new processes and procedures.


Operational
          
Support the shop business plan.

Achieve the agreed targets of sales.

Maintain a high standard of shop presentation, through effective use of the daily shop walks.

Implement effective stock management controls and disciplines, to deliver outstanding availability.

Protect colleagues and customers by providing a safe and clean shopping environment.

To open and close the premises and ensure the site is secure if required.

Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.

Assisting customers by providing information on products.

Help customers to make selections by offering suggestions and opinions.

Processing transactions.

Other duties   ·        
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the post as required.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED   ·          
Effective time-management skills.

Patience and the ability to remain calm.

Ability to receive feedback and act on it, when necessary.
  
Ability and willingness to acquire job-related skills and knowledge through self-development and by learning from others.
Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.         
Sensitivity and understanding..
        
Good attention to detail.

Background in Customer Service ideal but not essential.

Retail experience would be advantageous.

Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers in English language.
