This is an exciting opportunity to join the JFSC as it continues in its mission to maintain Jersey's position as a leading international finance centre, with its high regulatory standards and maintaining Jerseys position in the world of international finance.

In this role, you will successfully deliver the examination programme, primarily focusing on assessment of an organisations compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, in multiple Industry sectors.

To conduct examinations in order to successfully deliver the supervision examination programme, including:

  • examination planning
  • interviewing members of staff employed by the licence holder
  • conducting file reviews
  • reviewing documentation
  • leading, opening and closing meetings as required
  • executing reporting
  • closing processes

For the role you will need:

  • strong and proven background in financial service
  • previous experience working in or closely with risk management, anti-money laundering, compliance or internal audit functions would be advantageous
  • the ability to meet challenging deadlines and balance competing priorities
  • strong analytical, questioning and investigative skills
  • exceptional interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills with a can do attitude
