Facilities & Events Manager
The Facilities & Events Manager will help develop and promote Digital Jersey, and in particular the Hub and DJX Hub facilities, as the focal point for networking, co-working, event and meeting space for Jersey’s digital industry.
In addition, the postholder will be the Digital Jersey lead for both virtual and physical events, co-ordinating all aspects of each event to ensure a high quality experience for all participants. This is a diverse role, working with a wide range of stakeholders including start-ups, corporates, public sector and educational establishments, as well as playing a key role in supporting the whole Digital Jersey team.
The Facilities & Events Manager is responsible for ensuring we reach utilisation targets for all our facilities and for making the Digital Jersey spaces work for members by providing a stimulating and productive environment. The role is heavily member-focused, and whilst there is some traditional facilities management required, this is mostly a people-centric services management role with event management skills also required. Experience in the digital sector or an interest in digital is an important aspect of the role.
This is a varied role with a great deal of autonomy and would suit someone with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
