We have an exciting opportunity to join the Infrastructure and Development Performance department responsible for planning and delivering capital projects for Ports of Jersey across the Harbour and Airport. As Finance Business Partner you will provide day to day support to the team in all aspects of cost management, project accounting and performance management.
Through building strong relationships with projects’ stakeholders, you will ensure data collation and reporting information is carried out in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Project accounting including managing of all cost transactions on projects and ensuring accuracy of cost allocation.
Managing month end processes including processing accruals, cost transfers and staff cost capitalisation.
Managing finance assets register.
Tracking projects’ budgets and approved funding to ensure adherence to the governance process.
Managing the accounting system for capital projects including opening and closing project codes.
Supporting procurement processes on projects including prompt payments to suppliers.
Supporting external audit queries.
Providing support to the PoJ Finance Team in managing operational costs.
