Jersey Dairy is one of Jersey’s most prominent businesses collecting and processing the majority of the milk produced in the Island and manufacturing a range of dairy products for sale in Jersey and export markets.

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Finance Director to join the team at Jersey Dairy.

Job Description

This hands-on role involves being a proactive member of the Senior Management Team; providing comprehensive financial advice to all areas of the business and attending Board meetings to report on the overall performance of the business and advise on the strategic direction of the business.

The position will appeal to someone who enjoys making an all-round commercial and managerial contribution as well as providing first class financial accounting and management information.

The person should enjoy getting involved in all aspects of this exciting business and be able to challenge current processes where required.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) who is personable, enthusiastic, creative, and highly analytical with good commercial experience, awareness and attitude.

Accounting experience in a manufacturing operation would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be experienced with strategic vision and considerable experience at a senior leadership level. As well as having technical financial expertise, we also require the successful applicant to have excellent leadership and management skills; strong team working and interpersonal skills; first-rate communication skills; experience of organisational change management; and an ability to build strong service relationships with fellow employees at all levels, including the Board and external stakeholders.
