Our Corporate Services offering utilises a family office approach in the provision of corporate and funds services to our clients with a particular focus on boutique and bespoke solutions.  

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

The Systems Implementation Manager role involves close and regular interaction with all Stonehage Fleming employees, primarily in the Jersey and Luxembourg offices but also Group wide and also with IT consultants and system vendors. The incumbent works within the accounting area and reports to the Director, Corporate Services.

OVERALL PURPOSE

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team on an 11 month fixed term contract, based in Jersey, with scope to provide a value add service to support the project management of a new Fund Accounting system selection and migration process for our Corporate Services department spanning Jersey and Luxembourg.    This role would ideally suit a dynamic individual who has been involved in system assessment and migration projects previously and is now looking for a new hands-on opportunity to coordinate and support the team for this project.   The system will need to service a diverse portfolio of clients to include a range of open-ended and closed-ended listed equity funds, private equity funds, property funds, debt funds, managed entities, pension schemes, SPV’s, limited partnerships, listed entities.   As part of a small team, the purpose of this role is to provide a hands-on project management service to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely manner and will require the individual to undertake the work to bring the project to completion as well as manage the project on a day-to-day basis.   The role requires the individual to be well organised and able to work under their own initiative being mindful of both internal and external deadlines.  

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Assisting in the assessment to identify the preferred System Vendor
Day-to-day lead on implementation planning co-ordinating with the department, the Partner – Head of Family Office Client Support, the relevant areas within the IT department, our IT consultant and the System Vendor  
Day-to-day project management, including undertaking tasks as required, of system implementation including system interfaces, data migration & cleansing where required etc.
Assist the Luxembourg team with their implementation ensuring limited time required by their fee earners in implementing the new system
Drafting of training manuals, design and implementation of appropriate workflow processes, delivery of training to the team  
Accounting:
Assisting with the drafting and implementation of P&Ps including the identification of processes which can be designed as electronic workflow processes in the new system
Providing cover for the team during Christmas and audit season (bookkeeping, accounts preparation, review process)
Performing any other required duties to ensure all deliverables are met  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified
Fund Accounting system migration experience
Real Estate experience or experience in a Funds service environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Be proficient in Word and Excel and general MS products including Powerpoint.
Experience or knowledge of NavOne, Efront or Investran would be beneficial but not essential
