Family Nursing & Home Care (Jersey) Inc, is a Jersey charity which provides high quality, integrated nursing and home care in our local community. Our services touch the lives of more islanders than any other charitable organisation in Jersey, helping Islanders from pre-birth of end of life.Our teams of experienced and highly qualified nurses and carers deliver a range of services including, Health Visitors, School and Children’s Nursing, District and Specialist Nursing, Rapid Response and End of Life care as well as Home Care support. We are a forward-thinking, modern charity that has adapted over more than a century in order to provide the services that islanders need. We are currently seeking applicants for the position of: Head of Finance37 hours per week Salary Scale: £54,389 – £60,587 We are seeking to employ an experienced professional to support the Finance Director. The post holder will provide support for the financial management and corporate functions within the organisation. You will also provide advice and high quality support to senior managers within the organisation across all divisions and manage and mentor a Finance team. The successful candidate will have:

Preferably a recognised accounting qualification or be part qualified;
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working at a senior level;
The ability to work unsupervised;
A high degree of communication and influencing skills particularly attuned to working well with non-finance professionals;
First-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting;
Experience of financial reporting including production of annual financial statements, preferably with an exposure to the third sector although not essential;
Experience of working in fast moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard;
An experienced team leader able to promote good team work and professional development in others; and
An advanced level of Excel skills.
