The Role
The Lyxor Fund Administration team operates within the Funds
business line of the “Structured Investor Solutions & Lyxor” (SISL) team of
Kleinwort Hambros which provides administration and financial reporting
services to private equity funds, open ended funds, hedge funds, fund of funds
and securitisation products.
The Lyxor team is primarily responsible for a group of Jersey
regulated hedge funds. Its principal role is the oversight of functions
outsourced to Paris and Luxembourg, as well as the corporate governance,
company secretarial, regulatory and compliance activities required in the
administration of the funds. NAV
calculations, investor take-on/dealing and the preparation of financial reports
are outsourced for these funds but subject to local oversight
Roles and Responsibilities
- To lead the management of the Lyxor Fund Administration team,
ensuring that it is adequately resourced and equipped to provide a high quality
service within a regulatory compliant framework and achieving corporate
objectives in a risk controlled environment.
- To take part in the day-to-day operations of the Lyxor Fund
Administration business line and manage the relationships with clients, service
providers and other stakeholders.
- To provide input, support and cover as necessary to other parts of
the department/business as a member of the Management Team.
- Line reports - Senior Officers/Officers/Assistant Trust Officers
Skills and Experience
- A
proven track record in Fund Administration; private equity funds, open ended
funds, hedge funds, fund of funds and securitisation products
- Strong
people management skills; lead the team, motivate and development
- This
role will require you to be accepted by the JFSC as a suitable qualified
category “A” person.
