Insurance is one of the leading Insurance Brokers in the Channel Islands
serving a wide range of individual and corporate clients. There are exciting
plans in place to grow and develop the business and we are looking for an
ambitious and driven individual to join our growing team as an IT Assistant.
We
are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong problem solving skills,
who has the ability to work well under pressure with a keen eye for detail and
who is committed to their career development. Ideally, you will have experience
and knowledge of working with object oriented languages, preferably C#.
Some
of the key Responsibilities of the role will be:
- Maintain all IT hardware and software
- Management and setting up of new starters,
movers and leavers
- Monitoring of the Network
- Troubleshooting
- Programming maintenance of software systems
- Assisting with Access control management
- Assistance of IT projects as required
- Supporting the Head of IT and IT Architect/s
Experience,
Skills & Knowledge required:
- Comp TIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Desktop
Technician qualifications or Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (or
equivalent)
- Mathematics and English language GCSE grades
A to C (or equivalent) as a minimum examination qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous IT Admin or support experience
- Good team player and problem solver
- A natural ability to juggle multiple demands
- A desire to embed best practice
