Full Description
This is a hands-on technical role, you will need to be passionate
about the ever changing environment of infrastructure services, particularly
the shift towards Cloud computing, as well as technically expert in one or more
key Ogier technologies.
Our team provides quality support for a wide range of on-prem and
Cloud infrastructure, across 6 jurisdictions, acting as the second/third line
of internal support. Day to day, this involves reviewing, replicating and
troubleshooting infrastructure issues and bringing about timely resolutions.
The role also has a broad range of IT responsibilities in
group-wide projects as well as systems maintenance, including upgrades, new
features and new implementations, system and Cloud admin; in which we are
responsible for successful technical delivery.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
IT professional qualification in line with the Ogier technical
infrastructure stack e.g: Microsoft;
Citrix; Cisco; HPE
A minimum of 3 years IT support experience and proven skills and
experience in the following:
- Customer driven IT support
services with a focus on delivering solutions compliant with team
policies, processes, and procedures in line with our Service Level
Agreements.
- Proven experience in the
creative, efficient and effective use of IT resources, maximising benefit
from existing investment in hardware and software.
- Experience of managing a
multi-jurisdictional Microsoft corporate environment, utilising both
on-prem and cloud services.
- Ability to effectively
prioritise, work to competing demands, and work calmly under pressure
- Strong communication skills
required for engaging with the customer, including verbal and listening
skills
- Information security –
knowledge and experience of new and emerging technologies and legislation
that affects or potentially effects the security of Ogier's internal and
external client data.
- Previous 1st and 2nd line IT support and problem management
