Full Description

We’re looking for a Design Lead for our core training team and delivery team. We need someone who understands all components of design, with a passion for helping the next generation. The training team have responsibility for mentoring students in design and supporting them in the delivery of client projects. You’ll split your time between teaching full-time and part time students, as well as working on real-world projects for global brands.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Take lead responsibility for all design aspects of the Digital Leadership Programme, including graphic design for digital marketing, branding and the creative process.
Teach and coach a wide range of students from 18 year olds looking for an alternative to university, to those already in work looking to transform their careers.
Develop and implement the curriculum around a core structure; while maintaining an up to date syllabus the reflects latest design trends.
Helping develop and build highly engaging lectures, workshops, group exercises and other methods of teaching.
Guide students through the development of real-world projects and build work to client satisfaction.
Working closely with the ‘Digital Account Managers’ to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress.
Checking quality of student deliverables to clients.

WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
Experience of leading and coaching a team.
Enthusiastic and exciting approach to teaching and mentoring.
Strong visual skills and design background.
Relentless attention to detail and with consistency.
Strong analytical and communicative skills.
Ability to think and design holistically to create a cohesive and coherent product experience.
Ability to collaborate with and influence multiple teams: business, design, development.
Proficiency in design tools and prototyping tools.
